Staycity Aparthotel Deptford Bridge Station

This Staycity Aparthotel has 98 rooms ranging from hotel rooms and studio apartments up to more spacious one-bedroom apartments. In general, rooms here are larger than the average hotel room but smaller than the average apartment hotel.

Hotel rooms and studio apartments are open-plan rooms and the one-bedroom apartments have separate living and sleeping areas. The apartments, but not the hotel rooms, have a kitchen and a dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave and a stove top but it doesn’t have a proper oven so you can’t make pizza or bake a cake. The apartments have ironing facilities and there is a laundry room in the complex.

Some rooms and apartments on the higher floors have city views.

Because the living areas in the one-bedroom apartment have sofa beds, each apartment can sleep extra people with up to four people staying in the one-bedroom apartment. This makes it a great option for families and groups of friends travelling together.

All apartments and common areas have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access.

The hotel has some wheelchair-accessible apartments.

The serviced apartments are furnished in a minimalist style with neutral greys brightened up with yellow cushions and light fittings.

The hotel has a bright modern reception area and there is also a small gym.

There are plenty of shops and places to eat and drink in the immediate neighbourhood, particularly along Deptford High Street; however, the main attractions in the local area are in the other direction, towards Greenwich. A 15 to 20-minute walk (or a couple of minutes by DLR) will take you into the centre of Greenwich, which is a more upmarket neighbourhood with plenty of its own attractions including the Cutty Sark, the Fan Museum, National Maritime Museum, Queen’s House and Royal Observatory, Greenwich.

Staycity is right next door to Deptford Bridge DLR station (in zones two and three) making it easy to get into central London as well as nearby neighbourhoods including Greenwich and the Docklands. Deptford Bridge has trains to Bank every five minutes and trains stop en route at Cutty Sark (two stops away) for the attractions in Greenwich and at Canary Wharf (eight stops away) where you can change for the Jubilee line.

Alternatively, you can walk eight minutes to Deptford railway station for faster (but less frequent) trains into central London. Deptford railway station is in zone two and has six suburban trains per hour to London Bridge (with four continuing to Cannon Street and two continuing to St Pancras via City Thameslink).

Suburban trains from Deptford take around 14 minutes to get into central London but the DLR trains from Deptford Bridge are slower and take 24 minutes.
