Unlike most other hotels, only your first 30 minutes of Wi-Fi wireless internet is free. If you need more internet you have to pay £3 for 24 hours.

Although this is a budget hotel, prices can fluctuate depending on demand and it can be much more expensive staying here during peak periods.

This Travelodge has a great location in the city centre and most points of interest are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The attractions in and around Mathew Street (the Cavern Club and the Magical Beatles Museum) are only a seven-minute walk from the hotel; Liverpool Lime Street railway station and nearby points of interest, such as St George’s Hall, Liverpool Central Library, the Walker Art Gallery and the World Museum are a 15-minute walk away, the attractions on Pier Head (including the Museum of Liverpool, the Royal Liver Building and the British Music Experience) are only a five-minute walk and the attractions at Albert Dock, including the Beatles Story, the Merseyside Maritime Museum and Tate Liverpool, are more more than a seven to eight-minute walk from the hotel.

The closest railway station is James Street, which is only a two-minute walk from the hotel.

There are over 500 Travelodge hotels in the United Kingdom. Travelodges in Great Britain, Ireland and Spain are a separate business to the Travelodge hotels that operate in Canada and the USA (which are run by Wyndham) and the Travelodge hotel chain in Australia and New Zealand (which is part of TFE Hotels). Although all Travelodge hotels worldwide serve the same ‘quality budget’ end of the market, if you’re used to Travelodge hotels in Australia, New Zealand or North America their hotels in the UK may be a little different to what you are used to.
