It was replaced by another church but this was also demolished, this time in 1896 so that nearby roads could be widened to allow space for more traffic in the area.

IFS Cloud Cable Car

The IFS Cloud Cable Car (formerly the Emirates Air Line) is an aerial cable car that operates between North Greenwich and Royal Victoria Dock (near the ExCeL convention and exhibition centre). It is an unusual transport option considering that there simply aren’t many people that need to commute between North Greenwich and Royal Docks and it is an unusual spot for a tourist ride as the views over the Docklands aren’t quite as spectacular as views over central London. However, it is a relatively affordable scenic ride and there usually aren’t any queues.
