The Park Inn by Radisson Manchester City Centre hotel is near Manchester Arena and Manchester Victoria railway station at the northern edge of the city centre.
It is a modern business hotel with 252 bedrooms that all have floor-to-ceiling windows and come with a comfortable queen-size bed, a television, ironing facilities and an en suite bathroom. The standard rooms are 23m² (248 sq ft). All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access.
The hotel has a busy restaurant but it lacks focus with no clear speciality. The menu is all over the place with a mix of cuisines that include modern British, Indian, Tex Mex and Thai.
The hotel also has a spa with a sauna and steam room and there is also a gym and an indoor swimming pool.
In short, the Park Inn by Radisson offers a high standard of accommodation but there are better value and better-located hotels in Manchester.
It is not the most appealing location, and the views of nearby Strangeways Prison aren’t that great either, but it is only a short walk into the heart of the city centre. The National Football Museum, the Arndale Centre and the Northern Quarter are less than a 10-minute walk away and it is only a five-minute walk to Manchester Victoria railway station.
