Staybridge Suites London – Vauxhall is an all-suite hotel that is ideal for families and people who want a little more space. It is close to Vauxhall station and it is also within walking distance to many points of interest in central London.
Staybridge Suites is an extended stay apartment hotel chain that is popular with business travellers that need to visit London for a couple of weeks at a time and a large portion of the hotel’s guests stay here for longer than a week.
Accommodation consists of 93 suites over six floors. These are spacious units that include comfortable king-size beds, a work desk, a small kitchen with a stove, a microwave oven, a fridge and dishwasher plus a lounge area with a flat-screen television and en suite bathrooms. It has a contemporary (but not totally modern) decor with a homely feel that is makes it feel like a home away from home for its regular and longer-term guests.

Staybridge Suites is in a mostly residential area just north of the Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens and there is a nice pub (the Black Dog) a few doors from the hotel. Despite being in a residential area, many sights in central London are within walking distance from the hotel. It is a 10-minute walk to the Beefeater Distillery, less than 20 minutes to the Florence Nightingale Museum, the Imperial War Museum and Tate Britain and there are loads of other attractions within a half-hour walk, including the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) and Westminster Abbey. It is also possible to walk to Victoria and Waterloo railway stations in around half an hour.
The hotel is around a five-minute walk to Vauxhall station, which has 26 trains per hour to Waterloo as well as direct rail services to Windsor and Hampton Court plus tube services on the Victoria line with trains every 1½ minutes during peak hour.
