The White Rock Hotel

Rooms are clean and comfortable and all come with comfortable beds, flatscreen televisions and en suite bathrooms. Rooms at the front of the hotel offer lovely sea views but rear rooms tend to be a little quieter. Seafront rooms on the first floor have Juliet balconies.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel restaurant/cafe/bar gets mixed reviews that range from some people complaining about poor service and meals served with burnt chips and wilted salad to others raving about the generous portion sizes and lovely sea views. It has two nice smoke-free outdoor terraces and it is popular with locals although there is also a guests-only area that stays open a little later.

Dogs are welcome at this hotel which makes it a great option if you’re travelling with Rover.

The hotel has a perfect location. It is directly opposite the seafront and only a one-minute walk from Hastings Pier. The True Crime Museum is a two-minute walk, both Hastings and St Leonards town centres are around a 10-minute walk, Hastings railway station is a 12-minute walk and it is around a 20-minute walk to the main attractions in the Old Town.

Free parking is available although the hotel car park only has space for 16 cars.

It’s a great choice if you enjoy staying at independent hotels as opposed to bland chain hotels.
