Yeovil Pen Mill railway station is the more centrally-located of Yeovil’s two railway stations, although it has fewer services than Yeovil Junction.
The station is on the Heart of Wessex line, which runs through Yeovil en route between Bristol and Weymouth and most services on this line operate at two-hourly intervals in each direction.
Most trains serving Yeovil Pen Mill are operated by GWR, although there are also a few South Western Railway services that go to London Waterloo via Westbury.
Compared with Yeovil Junction, Yeovil Pen Mill railway station is a much more conveniently located station. Although it is hardly in the centre of town, at least it is in Yeovil and there are places to eat nearby including a nice pub, which is only a two-minute walk away.
The station is around a 15-minute walk from the station into the town centre or you can catch a bus from outside the Pen Mill Hotel.
