It is located in Leeds Dock, a modern residential development in a former industrial area. It is a nice neighbourhood, although some say that it lacks character when compared to other inner-city neighbourhoods. There are several places to eat and drink nearby including North Star, just a two-minute walk away, which serves coffee far superior to what you would find in any hotel. However, being a fairly modern area, there aren’t any traditional pubs at Leeds Dock, although Dock 29 is a pretty good place for a beer in the afternoon.

The hotel is right across the road from the Royal Armouries Museum and it is a six-minute walk to the Leeds Discovery Centre and a 10-minute walk to The Tetley. From here you can walk into the heart of Leeds city centre in just 15 minutes and most points of interest in the city centre are no more than a 20-minute walk away.

It is around a 10-minute walk to Leeds City bus station and a 17-minute walk to the railway station. The Leeds Dock water taxi provides a unique way to travel between the hotel and the railway station. It costs £1 each way and runs around once every 15 minutes between Leeds Dock (around a two-minute walk from the hotel) and Granary Wharf (near the southern entrance to Leeds railway station).

Parking is available for £8 per 24 hours at a multi-storey car park next to the hotel.
