The immediate neighbourhood is characterised by light industry and is not particularly attractive; however, the hotel backs on to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal with easy access to the towpath that provides a pleasant walk to Saltaire, which is only a 15-minute walk away.
It is around a four-minute walk into Shipley’s town centre and Shipley railway station is around a 7–8-minute walk from the hotel. From the station, there are frequent trains into Bradford and Leeds and even direct trains to London.
Free car parking is available at this hotel, which makes it a great option if you’re driving.
