Inspired by a soap factory that once operated nearby, the hotel’s Soap Factory Kitchen has more atmosphere than your average hotel restaurant. It features a casual dining menu of regional Yorkshire dishes as well as favourites including burgers and curries.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is at the western end of the city centre and the immediate neighbourhood is comprised of modern midrise flats and offices. Although the immediate vicinity around the hotel may appear a little dull, there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and it is only a two-minute walk to the riverfront, a four-minute walk to Leeds railway station and a 15-minute walk to the bus and coach station.

Local buses (including buses to nearby towns such as Dewsbury, Halifax and Huddersfield) stop outside the hotel on Whitehall Road; however, you’ll need to walk a few minutes to Wellington Street to catch a bus to the airport.

Car parking is available for £15 per 24 hours.
