Radisson Blu Bristol

Bristol’s Radisson Blu hotel is the city’s tallest hotel with a convenient location in the Old City.

The Radisson Blu Bristol is a modern 18-storey building in the city centre with 176 guest rooms.

All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flat-screen television, ironing facilities, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms with rain showers. Most rooms are 28m² (301 sq ft) and are decorated in a red, blue and cream colour scheme that is not to everyone’s taste. Some of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

The hotel’s suites are larger with tall ceilings, better amenities and separate living and sleeping areas.

The hotel’s Collage bar and restaurant serves classic British-style food. Although the food here isn’t bad, there are much better places to eat elsewhere in the city with loads of great places to eat and drink just a short walk from your hotel. Room service is available 24 hours.

Other hotel facilities include business facilities with a dedicated floor for meetings and business functions as well as a fitness centre.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is in the Old City not far from the Floating Harbour. It is a convenient location with most points of interest in the Old City no more than a 5–6-minute walk away and it’s a 10-minute walk to the city’s main shopping district.

It is only a two-minute walk to Queen Square and the City Centre ferry dock and Arnolfini, Bristol Aquarium, Bristol Cathedral and We The Curious are all within a five-minute walk from the hotel. Most other attractions in the city are no more than a 15-minute walk away.

As the hotel is only a two-minute walk from the City Centre ferry dock, the ferry is a really nice way to travel between Bristol Temple Meads railway station and your hotel even though the 18-minute walk to the station is probably a quicker option.

Parking is expensive at £26 per night (and it’s valet parking so you have to give someone else the keys to your car, which more than likely won’t be covered by your car rental agreement).
