Roomzzz Aparthotel Leeds City West

The hotel is comprised of serviced studio apartments that include a living area, a workspace and a small kitchen.

The Smart Studio is Roomzzz’s entry-level studio apartment and these come with a comfortable king-size bed, a flatscreen television, a work desk, a small kitchen, ironing facilities and an en suite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. Although these are the smallest option at Roomzzz, they are larger than your average hotel room.

The Grande Studio and Twin Grande Studio are the next step up from the Smart Studio and offer a little more space.

All these apartments have compact kitchens that are not fully-equipped. All come with a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a hob and tea and coffee making facilities as well as all the basic utensils you should need, but there is no proper oven. In other words, you can make pasta or a casserole but you can’t bake a cake or make pizza. Some of the apartments also have a dishwasher.

There are laundry facilities here as well as ironing facilities in the apartments, which makes it an excellent place to stay if you need to do some laundry.

All apartments are air-conditioned and free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel complex.

Although the rooms are nice and spacious, there are no other communal spaces in the hotel other than a spot where you can pick up a complimentary ‘grab and go’ breakfast and a small Essentialzzz shop at the reception desk where you can buy basic food items, however, there are also a few places to eat and drink nearby.

It is located on Burley Road, right across the road from the Emmerdale Studio Experience. Burley Road is a busy arterial road lined with new residential developments with an emphasis on student accommodation. Nearby points of interest include the M&S Company Archive, which is a 10-minute walk from here, and the Leeds Industrial Museum, the Henry Moore Institute and Leeds Art Gallery are all a 20-minute walk away. However, most other points of interest in the city centre are around a half-hour walk from the hotel.

From here, it is around a 15-minute walk into the city centre, although there are also frequent buses along Burley Road that will get you in the city centre in just a few minutes.

The railway station is a 20-minute walk from the hotel and it is a half-hour walk to the bus station. Limited car parking is available for £10 per night.
