The Mercure Bristol Holland House is a large four-star hotel in Bristol’s Redcliffe neighbourhood, which is conveniently located to many of Bristol’s main tourist attractions.
This hotel doesn’t look much from the outside but that all changes as soon as you step inside. The hotel interior is considerably more stylish than you would expect and the rooms are modern and well-appointed.
It is a large hotel with 275 rooms. All rooms have comfortable beds, a work desk, a flatscreen television, ironing facilities (including a trouser press), a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities (including an Illy coffee machine) and en suite bathrooms.
Rooms range from relatively compact 15m² (161 sq ft) classic double rooms up to larger 24m² (258 sq ft) privilege rooms and spacious 32m² (344 sq ft) superior rooms. The larger privilege and superior rooms include little extras such as bathrobes and slippers.
The hotel also has several larger 43m² (463 sq ft) executive suites, which include a separate living and sleeping areas.
The Mercure Bristol Holland House has leisure facilities that include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a spa with 14 treatment rooms.

The hotel’s Urban Bar & Kitchen is a modern space with a casual dining menu; however, there are plenty of other places to eat and drink nearby including the Ostrich (just a three-minute walk from the hotel) which has outdoor seating by the waterfront.

The hotel is south of the city centre in the Redcliffe neighbourhood, just a two-minute walk from St Mary Redcliffe Church. Although the location at the southwest corner of Redcliffe may not seem particularly convenient, the hotel is around a 10-minute walk to the Old City and a 15-minute walk to Bristol’s main shopping district. It is quite convenient to the tourist attractions on the floating harbour with Arnolfini, Bristol Aquarium, the Matthew of Bristol, M Shed and Queen Square all no more than a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
It is around a 15-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads railway station and it is possible to come from the station by ferry with the Bathurst Basin ferry dock just a three-minute walk from the hotel.
