Rooms at the Premier Inn Bristol City Centre (King Street) feature a king-size Hypnos bed and a comfortable chair (twin rooms have a double bed and a chaise longue/sofa bed), a writing desk, a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom. The bathroom has a bathtub with a showerhead above it rather than a proper walk-in shower. All rooms have free Wi-Fi wireless internet access (up to 1GB per day).

Nearby points of interest include Arnolfini, Bristol Aquarium, Bristol Cathedral, M Shed, the Matthew of Bristol, St Mary Redcliffe Church and We The Curious, which are all under a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

This hotel is best suited if you’re travelling by public transport. It is around a 15-minute walk from Temple Meads railway station and the city’s two coach stations. However, if you’re arriving in Bristol by train, the nicest way to get here is to take the ferry from the station to Welsh Back ferry dock, which is only a two-minute walk from the hotel.

The city centre location means that it’s not really suited if you’re driving, particularly as there is no on-site parking and the closest car park costs £18 per day (and that is with the 25% discount that is available to hotel guests).

Premier Inn is the largest hotel chain in the United Kingdom and it usually scores very high on customer surveys when compared to other UK hotel chains. It operates at the budget end of the market and provides a reasonably high standard of accommodation for the price, and is comparable to ibis and Travelodge hotels.
