The hotel’s 135 air-conditioned guest rooms all have comfortable beds, a flat-screen television, a work desk, ironing facilities, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite bathrooms. Two of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Most rooms are a relatively spacious 24m² (269 sq ft) and the hotel’s suites are larger, between 28m² (301 sq ft) and offer better amenities and separate living and sleeping areas.

The hotel’s LS1 restaurant and bar offer a variety of dining options including a conventional restaurant and a lounge bar. The menu is influenced by local Yorkshire cuisine and lighter meals are available in the bar.

Guests have complimentary access to the Spirit Health Club, the hotel’s health club, which includes a gym, a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna and spa treatment rooms.

Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel.

The hotel is on the western edge of the city centre. It is on a busy road that is lined with hotels, office buildings and blocks of flats and while it is not a particularly vibrant area when compared with other parts of the city centre, it is only a 10-minute walk to Leeds’ main shopping district where there is a large choice of places to eat, drink and shop.

Most points of interest in the city centre are between a 10- and a 20-minute walk from the hotel. This includes the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds City Museum and The Tetley as well as the main shopping hubs such as Briggate, the Corn Exchange, Leeds Kirkgate Market, Trinity Leeds and the Victoria Quarter.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the railway station and a 20-minute walk (or a five-minute bus ride) from the bus and coach station. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance that has buses going into the city centre every few minutes and there are regular buses to Halifax, Keighley and Leeds Bradford Airport.

Car parking is available but it costs £17.50 per day.
